It’s just past 8 hours into the new year, and after having been woken from a night of revelry involving movies, computer repairs, and Mario Kart by a text on my usually silenced phone, I thought that it would be a good time to push this website into a new direction.  I suppose that when it comes to a new perspective, I am being self-referential as usual, and talking about the one that I’ve been prepping myself up with for the last week.  Near done with my ten day break from work, with little beyond thinking, a few scribbled notes, and dozens of hours of Pokemon logged to show for it, it’s time to get to work.  First order of business:  cut down these run-on sentences a bit.

While 2010 was the year of big ideas, I aim to make 2011 the year of actions, both large and small.  Too many thoughts have been written down or written off before consideration was given to their efficacy.  While I’m sure that this will eventually come in handy when  I have more experience and drive under my belt, ambition alone isn’t enough.  If there is one resolution that I can make for this year (beyond curbing my terrible nail-biting habit), it is to devote myself more fully to projects that will have public appeal and approval.  Recent restructuring of business ideas has hopefully helped give some focus to priorities of my personal time that is devoted towards my online life, and will give more concrete results to share with others.

With the start of this new blog, you may also notice that I’m a bit wordy of an individual.  Anyone who cares to follow, fair warning, I talk to myself a lot, reference in-jokes of which I am the only party, and tell half-truths that no one would ever notice anyway.  I’ll freely acknowledge now that it will be off putting to most.  Still, if I can accomplish half of the things that I set out to do, I look forward to a fulfilling and productive year.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a Lugia to catch.
