I'm glad you two survived - now get your butts down here so I can continue carb loading you at delicious restaurants, lol.

I keep adding things to my bucket list, so I can't really say if I actually intend to strive on crossing any specific things off it this year. However, several of my resolutions will most likely result in some of those accomplishments. One of my resolutions this year is to visit a new unique Florida destination/attraction/spot/thing each month with my father. Another is to enter more cooking and recipe contests. And yet another is to finally make it to Canada (which is a definite bucket list item, so that'll probably qualify).

I thought it was Mario from the pic. And it must've been really delicious if you had to say "and it was delicious" twice :P

I'm liking the sound of that second cheeseless pizza idea. I'm a bit picky about the roasted veggies that I put on, but I still have the jar of artichokes that you gave me.

I actually can help you on the pizza thing. A long-since closed restaurant near us was basically a CPK ahead of its time. They served what they jokingly refered to as a "peanut butter pizza" - the menu called it a Thai Chicken Pizza. Of course, sans-chicken, this is easily vegan. All you need is either actual pizza dough or a large piece of pita, flatbread, naan or whatever you want to use. Get a jar of peanut satay sauce and then top with bean sprouts, chopped scallions, carrot shreds, thinly sliced snow pea pods, water chestnuts, mushrooms, basically any asian veggies. Actually, if you got a bag of that asian broccoli slaw I bet that would be delicious, too. I'd bake the crust with just the satay sauce first and then top with the veggies, so they'll stay crunchy and fresh.

You can always just do a cheeseless pizza, too. Do a marinara with basil and a bunch of roasted veggies...kinda like a puttanesca sauce on dough.

As for sketches - better be scanning these and posting them. Remember the rule of the Internet: pics or it didn't happen.

Hey David ,

Don't get discouraged, we all go though those sloth days, but sometimes its going through those days and come out of them do we really accomplish alot. so i feel that you will be able to keep these promises to you. and they will become so simple.
I do like the part where you are going to write one thing that made you happy each day. For we all need to look at things in a positive perspective at times, even when the sky seems so dark .
Take care my friend,
Thomas
